  1. I truly do not get what you mean by the word concept.

     

    Can you explain it without baiting-and-switching the the conversation to talking about comprehension. i.e. don't use the word comprehend at all to explain what you mean by concept - because comprehension and conceptualization (the process of forming concepts) are not merely two different words for referencing the same meaning.

     

    What exactly do you mean by the word concept - such that conceptualizing (forming a concept) supposedly cannot be done with regard to God?

     

     

    To form a concept or concepts of, and especially to interpret in a conceptual way:

    "Efforts to Conceptualize the history and structure of the universe were already running into trouble because . . . the universe was not as uniform as had been assumed" (John Noble Wilford).

  2. Conceptualize God?

     

    Despite the title of this topic and human ideas, can not really formulate concepts about Universal Father because it is much more... than that.

    Perhaps some of you thought when I started the topic, but in the meantime some of that exists in our mind, that is, wanting to conceptualize God, it is impossible, but it is a way among many others, to start talking about our Father, from the low point of our perception and discernment.

    (should have written this by starting the topic!) because:

     

     

    (50.4) 3:4.6 Mortal man cannot possibly know the infinitude of the heavenly Father. Finite mind cannot think through such an absolute truth or fact. But this same finite human being can actually feel — literally experience — the full and undiminished impact of such an infinite Father’s LOVE. Such a love can be truly experienced, albeit while quality of experience is unlimited, quantity of such an experience is strictly limited by the human capacity for spiritual receptivity and by the associated capacity to love the Father in return.

     

    I am struck by one quote that says that God is "the noblest work of man." :o

    Wouuu ... We believe too big, but it is; another paragraph also says that the man made God in his image and likeness (non-text) also is ridiculous but also true, sometimes this idea which comes from far in the time, it is quite common, although amazing,

     

     

    (23.4) 1:2.1 God is primal reality in the spirit world; God is the source of truth in the mind spheres; God overshadows all throughout the material realms. To all created intelligences God is a personality, and to the universe of universes he is the First Source and Center of eternal reality. God is neither manlike nor machinelike. The First Father is universal spirit, eternal truth, infinite reality, and father personality.

     

    (23.5) 1:2.2 The eternal God is infinitely more than reality idealized or the universe personalized. God is not simply the supreme desire of man, the mortal quest objectified. Neither is God merely a concept, the power-potential of righteousness. The Universal Father is not a synonym for nature, neither is he natural law personified. God is a transcendent reality, not merely man’s traditional concept of supreme values. God is not a psychological focalization of spiritual meanings, neither is he “the noblest work of man.” God may be any or all of these concepts in the minds of men, but he is more. He is a saving person and a loving Father to all who enjoy spiritual peace on earth, and who crave to experience personality survival in death.

     

    (24.1) 1:2.3 The actuality of the existence of God is demonstrated in human experience by the indwelling of the divine presence, the spirit Monitor sent from Paradise to live in the mortal mind of man and there to assist in evolving the immortal soul of eternal survival. The presence of this divine Adjuster in the human mind is disclosed by three experiential phenomena:

    1.
    The intellectual capacity for knowing God — God-consciousness.

     

    2.
    The spiritual urge to find God — God-seeking.

     

    3.
    The personality craving to be like God — the wholehearted desire to do the Father’s will.

     

     

    (24.5) 1:2.7 The existence of God can never be proved by scientific experiment or by the pure reason of logical deduction. God can be realized only in the realms of human experience; nevertheless, the true concept of the reality of God is reasonable to logic, plausible to philosophy, essential to religion, and indispensable to any hope of personality survival.

     

    (24.6) 1:2.8 Those who know God have experienced the fact of his presence; such God-knowing mortals hold in their personal experience the only positive proof of the existence of the living God which one human being can offer to another. The existence of God is utterly beyond all possibility of demonstration except for the contact between the God-consciousness of the human mind and the God-presence of the Thought Adjuster that indwells the mortal intellect and is bestowed upon man as the free gift of the Universal Father.

    For me, materialism (whether of the kind that is) though unintended, has had the effect of putting people of spirituality, of true religion. And with that many have forgotten God. If we add to this that established religions remained planted, instead of helping people grow in their spiritual evolution, the outlook is not cheerful, certainly. By contrast, some have become or are declared atheists ...

     

    Not that anyone believes in God. in a way, but I have been relegated to a lower level within the priorities of its existence. The results are plain to see, and nobody seems to me that it could deny, unless the materialist, of course.

    Recognize God as our Father, it is obvious that we feel their children.

    We are son of God!

    But, what I observe is that the similarity with He we win trying to seem more to Him, doing his Will, which becomes ours as well when we realize that we are indeed their children!

    "This choosing does not so much consist in the negation of creature will — “Not my will but yours be done” — as it consists in the creature’s positive affirmation: “It is my will that your will be done.”111:5.6

     

    And one day we will be ONE with our Father.

    I was thinking about what love involves searching our identification with the indwelling Spirit Adjuster! God in us. Toward leads there the attempt of the creature to find the Unity. right?

     

    (40.2) 2:5.10 But the love of God is an intelligent and farseeing parental affection. The divine love functions in unified association with divine wisdom and all other infinite characteristics of the perfect nature of the Universal Father. God is love, but love is not God. The greatest manifestation of the divine love for mortal beings is observed in the bestowal of the Thought Adjusters, but your greatest revelation of the Father’s love is seen in the bestowal life of his Son Michael as he lived on earth the ideal spiritual life. It is the indwelling Adjuster who individualizes the love of God to each human soul.

     

     

     

    (1176.2) 107:0.2 The Adjusters are the actuality of the Father’s love incarnate in the souls of men; they are the veritable promise of man’s eternal career imprisoned within the mortal mind; they are the essence of man’s perfected finaliter personality, which he can foretaste in time as he progressively masters the divine technique of achieving the living of the Father’s will, step by step, through the ascension of universe upon universe until he actually attains the divine presence of his Paradise Father.

     

    So many factors and personalities involved that is difficult in a few posts go including all this gear both Universal and personal. At this time I remembered gravity, because it also relates to the three lights listed above.

    In my opinion, Sure it's love! The material light, intellectual insight, and spirit luminosity.

    So if the gears work consistently, our potential become current.Just as the universe works, we should also work,systematically. Is this not seek unity within ourselves. trying to find the balance?

    Whoever does so, I think it's for the love to God, to do His Will, which according to UB. is trying to seem

    more... and more ... Him. While we are. giving of that love to others.

     

    Therefore, working with these three keys in us means, for me, being like unity within ourselves, because the Father is Unity.

    According to my understanding, the concepts,sometimes, there are not dimensioned, then again distortion.One thing is LOVE, in big letters, that is all the love of God and the other is love, as commonly used word. Nobody can experience the Love of God in its entirety. but we can love and be loved.In every face, in every expression, every tree, every flower ... in every animal, in everything we see, there is a fragment of the Father's love. so we feel love for such, for example.

     

    For me can reconcile both concepts, is relative depending on how we think about love,

    God is LOVE and Love is God but in its highest form, the Truth, Beauty, Goodness of the Father, is our Golden Rule and we know that three are one, LOVE.

    Now. if I move to my little world, fragments of that great LOVE, and try to find love in all, I can, I have the right to say that love is God in my experience, such as the Thought Adjusters.

    Do not forget that love, we live in many ways.

    Being loyal is an act of love, as it is being or trying to be fair, good, merciful, the list is long.

    Be seekers of Truth or seekers of God is an act of love.

     

    Why God is Unity? I would answer, no doubt:

    - Because is Love

     

    Why we seek to other people, friends, family, children...

    - Because it's love that ultimately makes us happy. :)

     

     

    (38.4) 2:4.4 Mercy is the natural and inevitable offspring of goodness and love. The good nature of a loving Father could not possibly withhold the wise ministry of mercy to each member of every group of his universe children. Eternal justice and divine mercy together constitute what in human experience would be called fairness.

     

    (43.5) 2:7.12 Truth is coherent, beauty attractive, goodness stabilizing. And when these values of that which is real are co-ordinated in personality experience, the result is a high order of love conditioned by wisdom and qualified by loyalty. The real purpose of all universe education is to effect the better co-ordination of the isolated child of the worlds with the larger realities of his expanding experience. Reality is finite on the human level, infinite and eternal on the higher and divine levels.

And the actual emergence of these two experiential Deities lays the foundation for the second experiential Trinity. This is the Trinity Absolute, the union of God the Supreme, God the Ultimate, and the unrevealed Consummator of Universe Destiny. And this Trinity has theoretical capacity to activate the Absolutes of potentiality — Deity, Universal, and Unqualified. But the completed formation of this Trinity Absolute could take place only after the completed evolution of the entire master universe, from Havona to the fourth and outermost space level.

    The perception of the physical and mental realities for me depends on the individual. Therefore, there are spatial-temporal dimensions also mental and spiritual dimensions.

    The three, material-mental-spiritual are personal perceptions o insights; levels of consciousness.

Between the level of the individual human being and the level of the total of mankind, all groupings and associations are relative, transitory, and of value only in so far as they enhance the welfare, well-being, and progress of the individual and the planetary grand total — man and mankind.

     

    (1488.1) 134:5.3 Religious teachers must always remember that the spiritual sovereignty of God overrides all intervening and intermediate spiritual loyalties. Someday civil rulers will learn that the Most Highs rule in the kingdoms of men.

     

    (1488.2) 134:5.4 This rule of the Most Highs in the kingdoms of men is not for the especial benefit of any especially favored group of mortals.     The Love of God

     

     

    (38.6) 2:5.1 “God is love”; therefore his only personal attitude towards the affairs of the universe is always a reaction of divine affection. The Father loves us sufficiently to bestow his life upon us. “He makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”

     

    (39.1) 2:5.2 It is wrong to think of God as being coaxed into loving his children because of the sacrifices of his Sons or the intercession of his subordinate creatures, “for the Father himself loves you.” It is in response to this paternal affection that God sends the marvelous Adjusters to indwell the minds of men. God’s love is universal; “whosoever will may come.” He would “have all men be saved by coming into the knowledge of the truth.” He is “not willing that any should perish.”

     

    (39.2) 2:5.3 The Creators are the very first to attempt to save man from the disastrous results of his foolish transgression of the divine laws. God’s love is by nature a fatherly affection; therefore does he sometimes “chasten us for our own profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.” Even during your fiery trials remember that “in all our afflictions he is afflicted with us.”

     

    (39.3) 2:5.4 God is divinely kind to sinners. When rebels return to righteousness, they are mercifully received, “for our God will abundantly pardon.” “I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.” “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God.”

     

    (39.4) 2:5.5 After all, the greatest evidence of the goodness of God and the supreme reason for loving him is the indwelling gift of the Father — the Adjuster who so patiently awaits the hour when you both shall be eternally made one. Though you cannot find God by searching, if you will submit to the leading of the indwelling spirit, you will be unerringly guided, step by step, life by life, through universe upon universe, and age by age, until you finally stand in the presence of the Paradise personality of the Universal Father.

     

    (39.5) 2:5.6 How unreasonable that you should not worship God because the limitations of human nature and the handicaps of your material creation make it impossible for you to see him. Between you and God there is a tremendous distance (physical space) to be traversed. There likewise exists a great gulf of spiritual differential which must be bridged; but notwithstanding all that physically and spiritually separates you from the Paradise personal presence of God, stop and ponder the solemn fact that God lives within you; he has in his own way already bridged the gulf. He has sent of himself, his spirit, to live in you and to toil with you as you pursue your eternal universe career.

     

    (39.6) 2:5.7 I find it easy and pleasant to worship one who is so great and at the same time so affectionately devoted to the uplifting ministry of his lowly creatures. I naturally love one who is so powerful in creation and in the control thereof, and yet who is so perfect in goodness and so faithful in the loving-kindness which constantly overshadows us. I think I would love God just as much if he were not so great and powerful, as long as he is so good and merciful. We all love the Father more because of his nature than in recognition of his amazing attributes.

     

    (39.7) 2:5.8 When I observe the Creator Sons and their subordinate administrators struggling so valiantly with the manifold difficulties of time inherent in the evolution of the universes of space, I discover that I bear these lesser rulers of the universes a great and profound affection. After all, I think we all, including the mortals of the realms, love the Universal Father and all other beings, divine or human, because we discern that these personalities truly love us. The experience of loving is very much a direct response to the experience of being loved. Knowing that God loves me, I should continue to love him supremely, even though he were divested of all his attributes of supremacy, ultimacy, and absoluteness.

     

    (40.1) 2:5.9 The Father’s love follows us now and throughout the endless circle of the eternal ages.   19. I am not yet sure how all the parts fit together yet, so I am not sure how the Universal Controller fits into everything. But I agree what you mean though, I believe the Father can act as a Universal Controller :). Or as an Infinite upholder, or perhaps even as Eternal Son :blink: IMO the Father-Father designation is a hint that the Father can even act as the Mother on the Infinite level as the Infinite Upholder.

     

     

    I believe Scott, which of course, there is that relationship that you say, everything is connected, all

    circuits working perfectly.

    But slowly. :D First, The Universal Controller is God, (not that fits into everything) but, rather, is the Master of everything. Hence derives Creator God.

    Then we have the Infinite Upholder, The Infinite Potential, The Infinite Capacity, The Universal One of Infinity. I AM AS I AM.

  21. It is insufficient to know of Him with-out us, we must come to know of Him within as well, no? This is not a universe-approach to the facts of Him regarding all that He is - but it is the pilgrim perspective/experience we discuss here and not the universe perspective, isn't it?

    I agree Bradly! :) We perceive from the inside, to feel, I think is the most important. Here we talk about what we happen to us either from our experience from the perspective pilgrim or the Universe.

     

    Scott, I think the seven triunities give us more depth to our understanding.

    We can observe much about manifestation of the I AM. For me, this cause we get a little closer to the Great I AM, at least intellectually, it becomes more understandable.

    Although as stated in the quote, below, do not fully understand its reach to infinity, which is impossible.

    I once read that there are many philosophers who were lost, ie, their minds wandered, trying to understand the Whole circle of infinity and eternity.

When we speak of the Father, we mean God as he is understandable by his creatures both high and low, but there is much more of Deity which is not comprehensible to universe creatures. God, your Father and my Father, is that phase of the Infinite which we perceive in our personalities as an actual experiential reality, but the I AM ever remains as our hypothesis of all that we feel is unknowable of the First Source and Center. And even that hypothesis probably falls far short of the unfathomed infinity of original reality.
