That's great that a famous black man is disseminating the UB, but he isn't answering any of our questions. I tell people how I feel as a woman about all the anti-feminist statements. I want to know how a black man feels about the anti-race equality statements. Stop keeping everyone in suspense like this.

Hi Jessica,

Pato did mention he was taken aback, but understood when he grasped the greater perspective. Dr Perry wrote some on this too. Will see if there's a link...

Thanks Rick. I didn't hear him say anything about the race quotes. I thought he was just making general statements about the the UB in general. I for one would like to hear him get more specific and maybe even have a testimony of how the race quotes have helped him in his life. I know that the chivalry quotes help me as a woman every day. I just await the day when a black reader or maybe a red or yellow reader can really expound about the controversial quotes and talk about how it helped them uderstand themselves and succeed more in society because of it.
"If woman aspires literally to enjoy all of man's rights, then sooner or later, pitiless and emotionless competition will certainly replace that chivalry and special consideration which many women now enjoy, and which they have so recently won from men (Urantia Book, 938)."

You're welcome Jessica,

This paragraph is what caught my eye:

...If we view the narration of the six evolutionary races without the context
of the planetary rebellion and the
Adamic default, it certainly appears that the Urantia Book is racist and is
designed only for the white culture,
but careful study of the revelation yields that insight which reveals that
this is not the case. Is the Urantia
book Racist? No! But the races are, no doubt due to the lack of adequate
spirituality and subsequent lack
of brotherly love. The revelators are forced to tell the story as it
happened not as it should have happened.
Even so they tell what the destiny of the race problem is. The races will
eventually blend, and there will only
be one race. In the meantime, we should pay attention to the reasons given
for the evolving of different race
with different potential for intellectual and spiritual receptivity. Dr. J Perry

Sorry Jessica,

Just realized we were talking about two different readers.

I listened to Pato's intro again, and at 6:20 to about 7 minutes in, I thought he spoke a little about his feelings.
