One of the first field workers for the revelation died this month. Meredith Sprunger was introduced to the UB in 1956. Many a seed he planted.

Muncie - Meredith Justin Sprunger, 97, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
He was a resident of Westminster Village and formerly from Ft. Wayne.
He was born April 16, 1915 in Woodburn, IN, the oldest child of Sylvia and Alvin Sprunger. Rev. Dr. Sprunger had a remarkable career as a college professor, executive administrator, and interim president at Indiana Institute of Technology in Ft. Wayne. He was also a licensed psychologist and therapist, and an ordained minister serving several churches in the Midwest. He is the author of Spiritual Psychology and The Abridged Urantia Papers as well as numerous pamphlets, and he was editor of The Spiritual Fellowship Journal.
He is survived by his daughters, Ruth Payne (Wayne) of Muncie and Grace Sprunger-Young (Greg) of Germantown, WI and grandchildren, Andrew Payne, Justin Young, and Gabrielle Young.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of sixty-six years, Irene Lucile; his granddaughter, Ellen Payne Osborn (Kent); one brother and two sisters.
A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Grace St. Johns United Church of Christ, 4120 Webster Street, Ft. Wayne, IN 46807.
In lieu of flowers, kindly send memorials to the church. Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
